Even though the registration procedure for the on-campus Wi-Fi “MUSIC Network” has been completed, if you cannot connect to the Internet (such as an “!” appearing on the Wi-Fi icon, or pages failing to open), the primary cause is that “the applied MAC address” does not match “the actual MAC address of the computer.”
If there is even a single character error in the input, the on-campus system will automatically block communication. Before coming to the Help Desk service window, please first verify and re-apply according to the following three procedures (you can resolve this yourself in about 3 minutes).。
Procedure 1: Confirmation of Application Details
Open the automatic reply email that arrived immediately after applying for network use, and check the value of the MAC address you entered.

Procedure 2: Confirmation of the Correct MAC Address and “Comparison”

If the device’s Private Address feature is enabled (Fixed / Rotating), the correct MAC address will not be displayed, resulting in a mismatch with your application details. Please make sure to turn “Off” the Private Address before checking the address.
💡 Points Prone to Mistakes—Check Before Copying! A MAC address consists only of “numbers 0–9” and “letters A–F.” You will not be able to connect if even one character is incorrect.
- Beware of Misreading: “8 and B” and “0 (Zero) and D” are very easily confused, so please double-check them carefully.
- Is it “for Wi-Fi”?: If multiple addresses are displayed, please choose the address labeled as “Low Power Wi-Fi,” “Wireless LAN,” or “Wi-Fi.” Addresses listed as “Ethernet” or “Bluetooth” will not allow connection even if registered.
Procedure 3: Correction of Application Details (Re-application)
If you find that the values were different (there was an input error) as a result of your check, please submit the correct address again using the form below.

*When you re-apply, only the latest application details will become valid (overwritten). *It takes up to 2–3 business days (usually 1 business day) for the re-application to be reflected in the system and for the connection to become available.
💡 If the Issue Is Still Not Resolved / If You Are in a Hurry
- Consulting at the Service Window: If you still cannot connect after trying the steps above, please bring your laptop computer itself to the “MUSIC Help Desk” at your respective campus.
- When You Need to Use the Internet Immediately (In case of emergency): If you are in a hurry because a class is about to start, etc., you can connect to the on-campus network “MU-NET” as a temporary workaround.
